Pharmacy

The Pharmacy Assistance Center is a closed door Pharmacy, which means only prescriptions written by Doctors and Nurse Practitioners of any of the 14 sites of Southeast Mississippi Rural Health Initiative, Inc may be filled.

Medications are purchased under the 340-b pricing program allowing the Pharmacy to pass huge savings on to patients. The patient pays the cost of the medication plus a $5.00 (Generic) or $10.00 (Brand Name) administrative fee.

There are times when the Pharmacy receives free medications from various non-profit organizations. These medications are filled at the Pharmacy Assistance Center for $ .01 cent each.

Many medications in the pharmacy cost as little as .01 cent therefore the patient could pay as little as $5.01.

The Pharmacy is open from 8:45 to 4:45 Monday - Friday and closed for lunch from 12:30 to 1:00.
