Welcome to Southeast Mississippi Rural Health Initiative, Inc. (SeMRHI)
The Board of Directors, staff, and I would like to thank you for choosing Southeast Mississippi Rural Health Initiative, Inc. (SEMRHI) as your medical home.
The health of our communities as a whole depends on having a place to go for primary care. Primary care is critical for identifying and treating health problems to avoid severe and preventable illnesses. Yet, today many families face barriers to healthcare, including accessibility and affordability.
The patients we serve face countless barriers to accessing consistent healthcare. Factors such as lack of insurance, limited income, and little or no transportation options leave many working families and entire communities with few options for care.
As a network of community health centers, SEMRHI is the solution. We have provided affordable quality primary and preventive healthcare in a patient-centered, safe, compassionate environment for more than 40 years.
SEMRHI's success is largely attributed to its dedication to meeting the community's needs and its patients' needs.
